Dear CPHC Staff and Volunteers:  My mother lived in Gananoque and died recently.  My family and I thank you sincerely for your help and kindness during her last few years.  Mom particularly enjoyed the hot meals prepared by Moroni’s Restaurant, but the frozen meals were also welcomed to tide her over the holidays.  I do not know the names of the ladies who delivered her meals so faithfully, but Mom told me frequently that she enjoyed your visits and appreciated your thoughtfulness.

A Friend is a Treasure

  A friend is some we turn to when our spirits need a lift;  A friend is someone we treasure, for true friendship is a gift.  

A Friend is someone we laugh with, over little personal things; A friend is someone we’re serious with in facing whatever life brings.

A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty and joy and grace;  and makes the world we live in, a better and happier place.

When Marion said she would visit me at home I was delighted.  Our visit was spent helping me with a chore then walking in the garden and talking.  All too soon it was time for Mario to leave, but I am already looking forward to her next visit.

 Thank you so much for getting us on the list for grocery shopping.  This will certainly ease some stress.  

We would like to send a hearfelt ‘thank you’ donation in Memory of M. Steele.  She enjoyed her outings, the drive to Prescott, the socialization, arts and crafts that your Adult Day Program provided.  Her home was filled with her creations.  We all loved her proud displays and the evident thoughts that went into planning the activities.  

We would like to thank you all so much for the help during the past few months.  All the wonderful ladies that shopped and delivered our groceries.  

I want to thank everyone from the ladies at CPHC for the support I have received and for all the meal/grocery deliveries from your volunteers.  If I can help in any way in any project, please let me know.
